Heavy metal crunch after replacing shocks

I had the struts off my parts car replaced under warranty, and swapped them onto the blue one. But now afterwards if I hit a bump hard enough it sounds like theres something loose. I'v triple checked all the bolts i undid to replace the struts but can't find anything wrong. I have also checked the lower-ball joint and tie rods. The bushings for the LCA are also fine.

Any ideas???

tried the Panhard rod? OR the bushes to the rear axle arms??

When my panhard rod was loose it'd be banging 24/7...now only the bushes bang around, and not as much :P

It only comes from the front...I haven't changed out the backs yet.

ah right - in that case it definitely sounds like the struts are worn - the rods are overextending as they've lost they're damping ability. It sounds more of a clunk doesn't it?

*Le Sigh*

It turns out that the dr side strut was blown...even though it was a fresh remanned unit.

God I can't wait to save up the scratch for some coilovers :ninja:
