Free parts

Since I have had no offers on the parts I removed from my 1992 Paseo, most are now offered to anyone that wants them. I live in West Michigan and have converted the car to electric, so no need for a gas tank, gauge, and fuel pump. I also removed the air conditioner and power steering. They will go to the scrap yard if no one wants them.

I would love to see pics of that setup. Can't imagine it. Is it 100% electric or did you change the engine cycle and set it up like the Prius.

To Jim: The assembly is still in the gas tank. It is yours if you want to come and get it.
To Paseo15PSI: I have been documenting the conversion, it is straight electric, not hybrid. I thought I would post the document when everything is complete.

Jaystar1600, The rear seat is still in use, so I won't get rid of the seatbelts.

LOL thats a hell of a drive.

If you box it up and ship it to me I'll be more than happy to pay the shipping and some $$$ for your trouble.

OK, Jim, I have no idea where you are. I take it you don't need the tank, just the insert assembly. Understand that I never had this car on the road, so I can't tell if everything is OK. The engine did fire after sitting for years, so the fuel pump has to work. I can remove it, box it up, and send it out. Give me the address, I'll ship it. You can then pay me whatever you think it is worth. I will be happy that it doesn't go to the land fill, which is where the rest of the stuff will go soon.
Regards,
Paul

A/C

The really difficult part would be the interior work. I don't want to use the battery energy to turn the compressor, so I will use the time-honored open window method. Thankfully the car has a sunroof.

The condenser coil in the heater area plus the wiring. I did not remove the heater or any of the inside A/C stuff. All that was under the hood is up for grabs or the junkyard.

Still got that a/c compressor? The bearing in mine just bit the dust this morning. Luckily it didn't seize up and shred the belt.
