Interior Work

Every once in a while I actually get SOMETHING done. Here's what I've been up to. Carpet is basically done, the seat, nowhere near.

Vacuum the hell out of the carpet:

Start 'Painting'/dying.

Yea, hopefully it'll look good once it's in. Actually pulled that carpet out of a Paseo at a junkyard. It's in better shape than mine, plus i wanted something other than that nasty stock color.

Plus, the seats are from a Tercel, so I have those to play w/, either dye em, or rewrap em as i have time, figured i'd play w/ some paint first, see what i can do, if it doesn't work, then move on and learn to sew, haha.

Haven't decided about the rear seats. they might come out and just be replaced w/ carpet wrapped plywood. Should just get some speakers to put in em, not like i ever use that back seat anywa, should just make it look good.

You SHOULDN'T use that backseat for anyone, anytime. It's just ridiculous. Progress on blacking out looks nice, though the seat looks pretty uncomfy. Yay rainbow streaks stock seats!

methinks interior bits need painting now. you didn't think to do that when you had them removed?

They swap right over (except one of the 4 bolts don't like up) Also, the female end of the Tercel Seat Belts don't match the Paseo belts, so I swapped them off the Paseo seats. Otherwise, everything was good.

yeah, don't wear white clothing. I bet that rubs off. try running a damp cloth over it to see how much comes off.

seat belts? WHAT seat belts ;) :P

there won't be rear seats/belts when i'm done.

The only reason there's a driver seat (being my non-painted stock one) is so i can test drive the car after the swap on Sat.
